@RenoSweeney24:  Hmmm, Ive got nothing 🙂 But, I am sure that whatever he is EXCITED to get you, you will LOVE, because it most likely came from the heart.

As far as your ‘stress’ goes…just remember that gift giving is not done to receive equal or better gifts from the recipient, but because it is what the giver WANTS to do 🙂  I usually spend way too much at Christmas, and go over my budget, and spoil a few select people.  I love their faces when they see what I got them, and have no issue that they (perhaps) did not do the same.

Keep us posted on what it is…only 21 more days til you get it!!!

@RenoSweeney24:  The whole, “It doesn’t need to be wrapped” comment would either lead me to believe it is either:

A) Enormous

B) Alive

You didn’t ask for a puppy or something, did you?

@RenoSweeney24:  Could it be a getaway? Like a trip of some sort?

My poor FI is the worst gift giver ever. He is so obvious about it (I can usually guess what he got me) or it something really….odd? I love it though.

I mentioned wanting to drink more water at work, so for my birthday he got me a water bottle that you can track your intake on. It was so cute because he was trying so hard, but a water bottle?

It was cute and I love how hard he tries.

I would guess its a vacation if some sort. Or tickets to something (concert, event, etc).

I should also add that I HATE surprises, so I feel your pain.

But I also double hate people buying me gifts. I wish Christmas could just be my buying gifts for other people, and people not buying me anything. I don’t say that to be a martyr, I just truly don’t like receiving gifts very much, even tho it’s unavoidable.
