I am mortified at the idea of getting pregnancy brain…the idea of all of a sudden becoming forgetful just terrifies me.

I’m also afraid I’ll bring the baby home and my dogs won’t like it.  Not like “oh we’ll just have to seperate them for a while” but like “oh we have to find a new home for our new baby dog” (hehehe, totally joke)

Fi is afraid to hold other peoples babies because he’s afraid of dropping them.  He says he isn’t afraid to hold our future children, just the idea of hurting someone elses child terrifies him.

PS – I’m not even pregnant yet, just have serious baby fever and think about things like this regularly.

@Mrs. Spring:I am afraid of the baby latching on to feed. It seems a little weird to me.

LOL. Okay I’m admitting this. Embarassed I’m terrified of becoming pregnant again DURING pregnancy. For some reason I think I’ve heard of woman concieving twice while they are already pregnant and then having to deliver one baby and leave the other in there for a while longer. Yesterday at my ultrasound I actually asked the tech if there is still just one baby in there. I was seriously worried!! haha

I also asked her if our little girl grew a penis since the last visit. I was convinced before my appointment that she had grown one! Luckily, (so far!) she hasn’t. I wont be convinced till she is here though!!! =)

I’m not pregnant yet (wedding isn’t until April), but we really thought that I was this month.  I was freaked out because I had celebrated with a few adult beverages over the holidays and I was really worried that (if I was pregnant), that the baby would be physically or mentally retarded because of it.  But, the AF doesn’t lie, so I’m off the hook this month!  Still scares me though!

@Mrs. Spring: That just made me laugh out loud.  She does know the baby isn’t actually in her “belly” right? (not being snarky, just cracking up to myself in my cubicle, hahahaha)

@Mrs. Spring: I’m not pregnant yet, but I asked my DH just the other day how we would choose if our baby was born with ambiguous genitalia. I have no clue why I’m worried since I’m not even pregnant, but jeez what pressure that would be to make the decision!

I am FAR from being pregnant yet, but I definitely am just ‘creeped out’ (not really, but you know, it gives me the willies) to think of a little one poking around in my belly! Like when you can visually see the kid elbow you or kick *AHG!* Reminds me of Alien. Or the kicks to the ribs! Ouch! Also, the fact that there is something inside of me with hair and fingernails is weird…

I know it will all be beautiful and wonderful and such once it’s my actual child inside of me, but this imaginary being is weird weird weird!

I was afraid it would hurt when the baby kicked. It’s annoying and uncomfortable but I imagined someone kicking me in the stomach and thinking it would be painful.

I am not pregnant, we are NTNT – but I am pertified of conceiving higher-order multiples (triplets or more). I don’t know why, maybe because I work in NICU I think it is more common than it is, but the idea it could happen really freaks me out!

For those of you scared of ambiguous genitalia and having t0o choose the gender, when a baby is born with ambiguous genitalia, chromosomes are drawn to determine the genetic gender, and usually parents just choose to assign the gender that the genes reflect.

I think, because of this post, I’m going to be afraid that my baby has ambiguous genitalia…

@Ms Mini: And I forgot to add I’m terrified of multiples, and I don’t work in a NICU, lol.  I’m even scared of twins.  The idea of it just makes me want to cry.

HOLY MOLEY!! Do NOT google image ambiguous genitalia to figure out exactly what that means.  I mean, I had an idea but didn’t exactly understand how you could choose a sex.  Now my eyes burn…and I now have a new fear added to my list.
