With just a few months until the big day (April!), my mom recently gifted me this right hand ring to wear as my something blue, as the shape matches the earrings I will be wearing. I think it’s beautiful, but I’m iffy about wearing any other ring besides my e-ring and wedding band. I’m worried it will take away from the “main event.” What do you all think? Are right hand rings faux-pas or totally OK?

- Wedding: March 2014 - A castle!
I’m going to rock a huge RHR on my wedding day and will give 0 cares about what anyone thinks because it’s an heirloom and I loovvve it!

I usually wear a RHR =)
It’ll vary on the day, but could be ny college class ring, an opal ring, a ruby ring that my FI gave me, another silver and diamond ring that my FI gave me, or some random stacking rings that I just like. Or even the ring I got from my Diamond Candle, because it’s really pretty. It just varies on the day!

I’m going to wear a large white gold diamond ring on my right hand. I got the ring from my grandmother who made it from my great grandmother’s diamonds. She passed away while I was planning my wedding, so it is a way to feel close to her on my wedding day

I don’t think anyone will even notice it! Especially since that’s not the hand people will be begging to look at!

I am wearing a pink pear morganite ring that FI bought for me on our 3 year anniversary for the purpose of wearing it on the wedding day. My wedding dress is blush so its very suiting.

@biasstarfish: Ooh, I’ve really been wanting to try a Diamond Candle! Thanks for your advice as well. I think I will go ahead and wear my gifted ring as a right hand ring.

Thanks everyone! 🙂 I’m so glad to see that everyone likes right hand rings, and yours are all very beautiful! I feel very reassured now, and I think I’m definitely going to wear the ring my mom gave me as a right hand ring.
