I think that set looks gorgeous!

Id go for that one regardless, i have a moissy but set in a plain band

and mine has had quite the beating what with catching it in doors and

whacking it off stuff! mine has held up well!  Im planning on the plain

band moissy e ring and am getting ( hopefully ) a full eternity

on the dainty side, hope this helps! 🙂

Congratulations btw 😀

@flutterbee:  The abaigail is a truly beautiful ring, but take it from someone who owns a very tiny pave ring, if you are clumsy you will constantly worry about the pave & it will be annoying. I’m clumsy too, but very delicate on my hands so I no longer have to worry, but at one point I definitely did.

There is this 3 stone setting from the jewelers I got my setting from, and it it quite possibly the most heavenly 3 stone in all the land lol. Can you tell I want one? 😛

The link below is their portfolio of settings, & the ring I’m talking about it called the Astin.

@flutterbee:  I think you need to go with your gut about the style of your ring.  That one does look a bit high and like it has a lot of pave, but honestly if that’s what you want then nothing else will be good enough and you’ll end up with ring regret!  Is your clumsiness the only hesitation you’re having about this setting?  Or are you starting to think you might like another style even better?

@flutterbee:  yes, think bezel would be a great option. I would probably avoid micropave given what you’ve said. Sorry!  I’m a little clumsy myself.  However if you do decide to go with the setting above- the good news is that moissanite although more than cz, is just a fraction of the cost of a diamond! Thus, if you break/chip or otherwise wreck it,  it won’t cost you an arm & a leg to replace the jewel itself. Smile

Here is a pretty bezel set c&C moissanite in silver for $129 (of course 14k gold would be more) from JTV.COM:

Moissanite Fire(Tm) .50ct Diamond Equivalent Weight Round, Platineve(Tm) Solitaire Ring. Measures 5/16

@flutterbee:  that’s so pretty but I’m really loving three stones since my friend got one and its super substantial and gorgeous even at a small carat weight!

@flutterbee:  If you get the astin 3-stone, I will be your ring stalker. You’ve been warned 😛
