I am currently on the hunt for the perfect ring! I am stuck inbetween a couple of options though. I have a fairly large ring size (10) and and not sure what would flatter my fingers the most. We are going with moissanite so I’ve got a lot of leeway with carat size as far as budget goes. Not sure if I should go with a plain solitare, a solitare with diamonds in the band, or a halo. I’m leaning toward the first two choices though. Any advice is appreciated! Plus, show me your ring and/or band plus share your size if your willing. Thanks so much!

Halos are nice, especially, if you’re trying to get more coverage.

They are all great choices. Are you a pave kind of girl or a solitaire? Personally I vote solitaire because I love the way that looks paired with an eternity band.

Strawberryshmoo: I’m not really sure what kind of girl I am. I’ve never considered rings before this, and I don’t wear any other jewlery. I’m googling solitares with eternity bands now to check it out though.

I love number 4! But that might be because I have a halo! Mine is a .83 carat princess cut diamond in a halo setting tcw of my ering is 1.58 im a size 3.5

monthofsundays: #3 for the win. I may be biased because I’m a solitaire girl myself though. I just think you can’t go wrong with a classic soliatire. You can always dress it up with a blingy wedding band and stack rings.

I think a side view is so important and I love the side view of the first two. I like #1 slightly better so that got my vote.

monthofsundays: I like #1 the best, but I personally think #4 would look better on a size 10 finger (though it’s hard to tell without seeing each specific ring on your finger).
My ring is a 1.25 carat solitaire on a size 4.25 finger (though I could fit a 3.5 if I wanted to… which I don’t for an E-ring lol)

I couldn’t vote for 2, but my picks are 1 & 4. im from South Florida, it’s all about the bling here!

Oops forgot to post my ring! .54 tcw diamond split shank, 2.5 carats Asha, ring size 6.5

My opinion is a bit biased because my ring is so similar to choice #2.

Heya, fellow chunky-fingered bee! This is a 1ct eqiv from MoCo on a 10.5 finger, ring is sized to 10.75. I voted 4 becase this is one of their higher settings and man does it get caught on everything. I feel like the ring is proportional mainly because the shank on is interesting (I didn’t want pave, I’m hard on rings), but the halo on 4 would definitely put you into well-covered territory.

Solitare all the way you can dress it up with your wedding band. Here’s mine

Mine is a little different than the traditional Engagement rings. We haven’t even looked at bands and don’t even know where to start with a ring like this. I have very skinny finger, but long. It’s 3 ct. tw in a size 5 ring. He did a wonderful job in picking out something that suits me, I prefer to be different.
