@Orchd12:  If he likes superheros (let’s say, Spiderman for instance), there are some really nice pieces (pewter, silver) that are key rings, ornaments, collectibles.  You can find them in nicer Comic Book/Collectible stores.  There’s a bunch of place online that ship anywhere.  Thye are based in a lot of major market cities like L.A., N.Y., etc.

How about a savings bond or a gold or silver ingot that he can save for his future?

My ring bearer is the 3y boy that I nanny for. While I fully understand that he’ll likely have no interest in most sorts of keepsake items, we still decided we wanted to get him one. We decided to get an engraved sterling silver yo-yo. It has his monogram on one side and our wedding date on the other side. He’s at such a fun, active age, that I wanted something else that he would think is super cool and use the heck out of. So I got him a personalized super hero costume complete with cape, mask and wrist guards. Still trying to think of a third small gift. Maybe a bunch of candy. Lol
