Any ideas? I am really stuck on what to get him.
I too have a six year old ring bearer. I used to be his nanny and I watched him from three months until he entered school. I too am having trouble on what to get him. It also would depend on the age perhaps. I know it I would want to give something that he can remember the big day and how important and special his job was (his parents too will like that) I did a little searching and found this link. There are some cute gift ideas here.

Hope it helps,

Jenny Bee -- Do you have any Build-a-Bears around you? You could make out a special bear for him in a tux and attach a ring pillow with it.
Its definitely one of the most difficult gifts for me to buy - especially since we had 2. But we ended up getting them each a backpack (I think we got them on sale from Pottery Barn kids and had them embroidered with their names) and put a few cheaper things in their - hand held games, matchbox cars, a fun waterbottle. They had fun going thru it all and it wasn't too expensive at all. Plus the toys kept them busy during our rehearsal dinner.
Bump?
I've gotten all my bridal party gifts except for the ring bearer!! He is my almost 7-year-old nephew and I have NO idea what to get him. I don't think any 7 year old boy wants a silver plated piggy bank with his name on it and there is no way I'm giving this kid an engraved baseball bat (um weapon?!?)
Please help!!!
I think I'm getting mine a supersoaker. :) They're kids! It doesn't have to be personalized!
I paid for my ringbearer and flower girl's clothing as their big gift, so I didn't want to spend a lot on their gifts, but I also wanted them to have something to open with everyone else at our rehearsal dinner. My solution was to make coloring books themed around our wedding and it was so easy and FREE! You can easily find wedding coloring pages to print at home using google and then I made simple covers for the books with scrap paper. I tossed them in gift bags with crayons and markers from the dollar store, some bubbles, some regular books I found on sale at the bookstore, and a holiday beanie baby (I'm having a December wedding). I think you could modify this idea and give mad libs and chapter books to older kids too.
I really wanted to find a gift for my ring bearer that was not just another toy but a special gift he could play with and also keep as a memory of the special day. On amazon.com I found the Ring Bearer's Stretch Limousine Car. It is perfect! It is made to scale (1:38), has pull-back action and the doors, hood, and sunroof all open and close. Best of all it was beautifully packaged so I didn't have to wrap it and only cost $12.95
I've been trying to think of a good gift for my little cousin who will be 2 and a bit for my wedding...I'll probably get him a couple of small toys and my "special" gift for him will be an engraved frame that says "*his name*" on top, with "Ring Barrer" on the bottom with a picture of him and I on my wedding day...I'm doing the exact same thing for my other little cousin who is the flower girl (She'll be 5)

I am trying to come up with ideas for a gift for my 6 year old ring bearer. Any ideas? What are you giving your ring bearer?
Thanks.
