That's super cute! I love that idea! At 20 mos though is he going to be able to get down the aisle on his own? I would have an "escort" planned for him just in case.
@bakerella: yeah, his momma will either walk with him, or be at the end of the aisle (and he'll obviously want to walk, when he sees her!)
If she's at the end of the aisle to lure him, a big lollipop or a favourite toy will help too. They did that with a lil'un at a wedding I was at last summer, but the boy was a little bit older (probably 2-1/2 years old?).
I GASPED, I thought that was so cute!!! It would engage him and he'd think he was just having fun. And I agree with the lollipop idea to get him down the aisle, lol.

Hi Bees, So I'm having my baby nephew be the ring bearer for our wedding. He will be about 20 mos. at the wedding. I don't want a traditional pillow, or teddy bear so I was thinking--Would it be cute to have him pull a tonka truck down the aisle with the fake rings in it? (It's an outdoor, picnic'y wedding)
