I have kids around that age.  From my experience, I wouldn’t actually think that would be the best gift for them.  I’m assuming they are ceramic.  That’s something that my kids could break easily, or hit each other over the head with, LOL.  I could see them thinking they were neat, but not using them very often.  They only have Hot chocolate once in a while during the winter, and obviously don’t drink coffee.  Just my $.02.

I agree with Tanya, maybe not the best idea??? Unless you’re wanting them for a specific reason like a cute picture you had in mind or something?
