My son and step-son-to-be will be five at the time of our wedding and will be our ring bearers. We are getting married on the beach with a Beatles/Rock & Roll theme and I’m trying to come up with how the boys will carry our rings. I need something that the rings will be safe in, in the hands of 5 year old boys and on the beach. My fiance is worried the boys will drop a ring in the sand and then they will be lost forever. 😉
I’m not super worried about that, but it would be a good idea to come up with something secure. I’d also like something in keepign with our theme, if possible.
Any ideas for interesting/original ring holders that are NOT pillows?

You know the inside pockets in most mens/boys suits? We took the rings, tied them to a card (like a playing card sized card) and inserted that into the ring bearers inside jacket pocket. It looks really cute when they go to reach in the inside of their jacket to whip out the card, its adorable. Also, if he drops it, the rings are attached to a large card, therefor easy to locate.

The box opens to a Mr and Mrs side. theres a clasp on the front so unless theyre super curious, theyre safe

I’m having “flower girl escorts” rather than ring bearers.
As cute as they are, I’m much more comfortable knowing that my MOH will have FH’s ring and the Best Man will have mine 🙂

Well….I told the little boy that brought our rings down the aisle that he could pick anything he wanted….he’s always been a car guy, when I was his nanny, all we did was talk about cars, by the time he was three, he could name any car from the emblem…ANY car! So it wasn’t surprising when he came up with this….we put the rings on the rear aerials…it was cute!

I just bought one of the ring “pillow” from this seller on Etsy. Initially I love this ring pillow with Unique Shell, but it doesn’t match my garden theme. I’m sure you can find many unique handmade stuff on that website.

What about a box or bowl made of melted and shaped records? Or a small, vintagey looking suitcase with Beatles stickers on it?
