We are taking a sort of non traditional route to rings and 1) skipped engagement rings and 2) are picking our own wedding rings…problem is, I’m so TORN!
The first I like because of the uniqueness of the black diamonds. I love the second one, although it is set in yellow gold, due to its romantic, classic look.
And while we did not do engagement rings I wear a rose gold and diamond band that will most likely accompany the chosen ring on the day-to-day.
What say you?

I love Morganite!!! I picked #2 because i think the black diamonds look too harsh next to the soft pink of the morganite and rose gold. I also think the band matches #2 better.

I the second one, since you plan on wearing the band with it. I think the band compliments the second ring much better than the first. The black diamonds and white diamonds might look a bit harsh with each other, IMO.

I love the second one!
I feel like the morganite and the rose gold are both such delicate colors that the black diamonds are a little overpowering on the first ring.

I’m kind of obsessed with the second ring! It’s gorgeous! The first one is just a bit harsh for me.. I think black diamonds look much better set with icy stones and silvery metals. The morganite and your diamond band seem soft and delicate, so I would pick #2.
Where is #2 from??? It’s sooo pretty! 🙂

I love the second one. It is more timeless and will go just perfectly with the band!

I love the second one! And I think it’ll go much better with the band you already have. I think the black diamonds compete too much with the center stone in the first and my eyes don’t know where to look

@Krises: Exactly what I was going to say.

Where did you find the rose gold rings?? I have a friend who wants one desperately but we can’t seem to find anywhere with a big enough selection. PS I love the second one.

the second one is beautiful… the first one is great too, but I picture it as more of a right hand ring.

@CanucksBride: I’ve found rose gold & gold rings on Amazon.com through various reputable/well know & common jewelers as well as Etsy.com and Ice.com. MySolitaire.com seems to go up and down with it’s supply of gold and rose gold styles.

@CaliforniaLove: #2 is actually from Amazon.com…I feel they may be taking over the world, you can find most jewelry store (Reeds, Zales, etc) inventory there.

Although the first ring is stunningly unique, I love the second one and think it would go better with your band that you already have.
