are ya'll having your ring engraved?  is it going to be a surprise?  I'm considering it.  maybe just LOVE NEVER FAILS from 1corinthians.

I am but not with something that will be a suprise and a little quirky.  Something that will make my FI smile when they look at it.  I'm not telling what though.

nope.  I have an eternity band and FI has Tungsten, neither can be engraved.  Apparently tungsten can be laser inscribed though, I might take his to get it done (we're already married so no rush.)  Maybe a skull and crossbones?  haha juuuust kidding!  I've always loved "forever was never till now." its fmr an ee cummings poem.  I said it to him in Italian on our wedding day, he loved it

I did engrave the FI's wedding band.  And it's going to be a total surprise.  I can't wait to tell/show him!

Too funny.  I have the bands with me as we are heading to the jewler right after work to get them done.

FI might get his done, but mine is WAY too thin to get engraved.

Mine is also too thin to be engraved.  We were thinking about the latin phrase, Veritas unitas caritas (truth, unity, love), but not sure.

We had ours engraved with our initials and wedding date.  @hotchild & ms.mojito--my ring is pretty narrow (2.5 mm) and it was easily engraved.  We wanted to have a line from Ulysses engraved (he proposed with a quote at the end) but "yes I said yes I will YES" was too long.  Oh well.  I love having our wedding date on my ring.
