CraftyB: what’s your finger size? What’s your preference for coverage?

i personally wouldn’t get it, as it’s an uncerted ring so you don’t know what you’re actually getting.

CraftyB:  I order from Overstock all the time. I’ve ordered everything you could imagine from furniture to jewelry.  Read the reviews and if you don’t like it return it. The return policy and customer service is superb.

Also go to your local Sam’s Club, they carry rings in your budget that are super adorable and you can try it on.

I ordered my FI’s wedding band from there. It’s a plain titanium band. Nothing fancy with stones. Idk if I would order a band with diamonds or stones from there.

Look at the retrun policy and make sure it’s solid. Once it comes in take it to a jeweler! Might delay you getting a ring if you have to return it, wait for a refund then find a new one. But if it’s a chance your willing to take then go for it! I got my ring from Costco!

CraftyB: ok, well this looks like an oval that’s closer to a round. SI1/SI2 has me worried because they aren’t all eye clean and this one is uncerted.

Size 7 and not gaudy and not a speck, eh? Best way to figure it out is to go to a store and just try things on. Then you can get a sense of what works for your hand in a similar shape. I recently went with my sister and she was looking at rounds. Turns out, she really likes cushions and ovals On her hand. She preferred rounds in the case but on her hand was a different story.

Also, you need to look at coverage, not carat weight. Not all carat weights have the same spread — depends on the angles of each stone.

$2k is a decent budget. I echo pp in going to Sam’s Club or Costco. If Overstock has free shipping free returns, go ahead and order it, try it on, get it appraised (so you can verify that someone else thinks it’s what Overstock as it is) and decide from there.

I would just hate it if you ordered and then had to spend a bunch of money in shipping. Every time I send my ring to BN, it costs $30. Shipping adds up. 🙂

I’m a Sam’s Club ring girl.  This was $2k and came with the wedding band and a certificate with and appraisal of $3,950.00.  I also wear a size 7.  The Sparkle is amazing. I get so many complimets.

You can see the band in the picture.

CraftyB:  Total is 1.45 tcw.  The center is a 0.48 ct.. basically a half ct center.   It’s called a Regal Diamond I think.  It’s my 3rd engagement ring from Sam’s Club.  I broke the prong off twice on the same style.  Fiance fell in love with this ring. I agree.   You can go online and look at what they have.  I know that style is now limited.   Good luck to you.  Let us know what you bought too.

I got a moissanite engagement ring from Overstock. When we took it in to get it resized, the jeweler we took it to let us know that the center stone had a bad flaw. It really was not noticable to me until he said something, so I just kept it. I figure since it is moissy it isn’t going to resell anyway. I probably will not purchase from Overstock again though because of that, although I imagine a diamond might be safer.
