I have this engagement ring in the picture below. It is a 1ct diamond daisy cluster with a delicate 18ct white gold band.
Now I need to find a wedding ring to go with it, and it is so difficult! At first I thought I wanted just a simple, slim, white gold band that is shaped to it around my ring, but today I went to a high street jeweller and I tried this on in the picture below. It is not at all what I thought I wanted, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. What do you other Bees think? Does it look good or am I just distracted by the added sparkle from the diamonds on the wedding ring?

SwedishBride: I think it’s really cool looking! It’s really unique and sparkly.

I love it!!! I had to look closely to see which band was from your e-ring. They look great together!

I think it’s really interesting and pretty, it creates a whole nother shape. It’s sculptural, I like it! A non diamond band situation would emphasize the flower shape more, but that set makes it more “mature” if that makes sense.

Thank you 🙂 I love my ering so much, it is absolutely me!
This is what the wedding ring looks like on its own:
And this is what my ring looks like with a plain band (though I would probably like it thinner if this was the style I chose):

I think it looks beautiful and unique! If you like it go for it!!

SwedishBride: I don’t care for the plain band, and I’m a plain band girl going for one myself. But that first band looks amazing with your ring!! To be honest, the engagement ring on it’s own isn’t my style as it looks like a flower, but with the sparkly band it looks like a snoflake and very elegant!! I say go with the sparkly band!!

playdohpants: I’ve always been a plain band kind of person myself (or so I thought!). The reason I love my ring so much is precisely because it looks like a flower 🙂 I want to emphasise it rather than take away from it, but like you say, I think that the diamonds on the first band show it off nicely.

The diamond band looks absolutely perfect with your ering!

SwedishBride: I like the diamond band you posted with your engagement ring much more than the plain band. The first band you posted is such a nice compromise between having a purely plain and a purely diamond band and I think it would look better than any other band I can imagine with your engagement ring.
I really like your engagement ring and, if it were me, I’d probably wear the engagement ring alone and get a straight band for times when I wanted to wear a band. But if you want to wear the engagement ring with a band, I don’t think it’s going to get better than the first one you posted.

SwedishBride: I love how they look together – I think the diamond band compliments the ring so much more nicely than the plain one. Get it!! (I say this as someone who usually prefers plain bands, but seriously, that diamond band is gorgeous with your ring!)

I really like that wedding band with your e-ring. I think they’re very pretty together.
However, I just wanted to ask if you’re certain that you plan to wear the rings in that order. If not, you also may want to see if you still love the rings together when worn in the traditional order, with the wedding band worn closest to the heart.

Brielle: Yeah, that’s definitely the order I’ll wear them in. I’ve tried the other way and I don’t like it. I know it’s the traditional way, but I’ve always worn my rings “out” so to speak, so if I have a ring with writing on it for example, I’ll wear it with the writing facing away from me 🙂 and I like the idea that my wedding ring would “protect” my engagement ring so to speak 🙂
MissMarple: My plan was to get a fitted band of some sort to go with the engagement ring (because I definitely want two rings after we’re married) and then get a plain band anyway to wear to the gym and beach and such when I don’t want to wear the full set.
