so I have these two rings, that are attached. One is a pink sapphire solitaire, about half a carat. The other is a four stone diamond band, with each stone being about .15 carats. I would like to take the stones, and have them reset into one ring (right hand). Unfortunately, never having really paid attention to 5 stone rings, I have no idea where to start. Any ideas? Post them here!

I would have the sapphire as the center stone and put two diamonds on each side.

mrssloan2013: Nailed it! That’s exactly how I pictured the end result.
MrsPPP: I think it would make a stunning ring using all 5 stones together.

mrssloan2013: That’s almost exactly what i was thinking. I’m hoping to use flat, claw prongs, and milgraining or maybe a carved band. Since we already have the stones, I can go “all out” (not really, but you know what I mean)…I emailed David Klass.. I just adore his rings. They’re like art.

MrsPPP: yes his rings are amazing! I think some milgrain will look great and give it a vintage feel. That’s awesome you get to design the ring, I can’t wait to see it!
