Mine is insured through Jewelers Mutual “Perfect Circle”.  They have a tool on their website where you can figure your yearly premium.  Mine is appraised at $6400 without my wedding band and we pay $70/year!

@cls9g FI paid a little over 5k for mine, but the appraisal came back at $6400.  They seem to be reasonable and it covers EVERYTHING!

Jewelers Mutual is way cheaper.  I was paying $700 a year with my home owners and did not even have everything insured.  I swicthed to Jewelers Mutual/Perfect Circle, and for the same price I have 3x the amount insured now.

We insured mine through State Farm. It was appraised at $22k (fiancé paid way less than 1/2 that for my custom ring) so we pay about $20/month since the insurance is based off of the appraisal. The insurance has $0 deductible and covers everything…with the exception of a nuclear bomb, etc. 😛
