I’d think something as small as that wouldn’t be something others would notice. However, if you’re a detail oriented type of person and the little things bother you, it might be worth it to get it adjusted. It’s your ring and you’re the one who looks at it the most!

If it’s driving you crazy now, it’s going to keep driving you crazy.  Take it in.

For the first part, there is no too high or too low.  Its really completely up to what you like.  Personally, I did not want the center stone to sit too high and just sort of stick out from the band.  I felt like I’d be able to just knock it right off.

How long have you noticed this space?  Do you have a picture?  I think if it bothers you enough, you should have it looked cause it will always bother you.  I notice a few little things about my prongs that bothered me at first, but no one else would notice unless they were an inch from my ring, and then it just stopped bothering me.  If you *just* noticed it, give it 2-3 weeks and see if its still on your mind… if so, get it looked it.

Thats about how long it stuck in my mind.  I think you should give it another week or two.  If you’re really still bothered by it, talk to the jewler.  I’m a little hesitant since for some weird reason I feel like it could always come back worse, or trying to change the setting could weaken the metal.  But thats just probably my own quirky feeling.
