jacks250:  Thanks for the PSA, but I have a feeling this thread may go south rather quickly. We have lots of moissy owners who love their ring. I’ve never seen moissanite IRL, so I can’t comment either way. I know the pics I’ve seen here on WB are STUNNING.

Can you post a pic of the ring?

Could you take the ring to a jeweler to have it examined to prove that it’s not real white gold?

Post a picture?

Edit – Never mind just saw that you don’t have it anymore.

jacks250:  Do you have a pic of it? I’m interested to see.

I’m not surprised it looks manufactured, it is.  Moissonite is a synthetic product that is lab-created…but I’ve always been curious to see one in person.

Please if you can, post a pic as I’m genuinely interested to see

jacks250:  People who are on the fence about whether or not to buy moissy may find your review helpful, so you have a point.

Do you know what kind of ring you are going to go with instead?

jacks250:  My band is white gold and looks and feels exactly like my yellow gold band, but white.

Is it possible they accidently sent you a “mold” that they use for ring sizing??

Hey OP – yeah could you post a pic? I know you say it’s misleading, but would still like to see. 🙂

I bought an old moissy (assumed it was old) from JTV and it’s very yellow and looks plastic. But I love it and wear it anyway as my right hand ring! I went and had a look in one of the only stores in Australia that sells moissy and they look amazing in store! Nothing like my poor little JTV ring. 😀 I also bought a moissy band from MoCo and it’s very pretty 🙂 It’s in palladium though.

Are you sure the setting isn’t just really light weight? Surely it must have been real white gold..? I wish you’d taken it to a jeweller to find out…!

Also, just out of curiosity – not that I don’t believe you, was it stamped “14K”?

I’m just curious of they sent you the wrong thing or are actually trying to pass off something else as 14 K gold

jacks250:  I hope you find something you love! You can get some beautiful jewelry at chain stores. In fact, I started a thread about it. Some of the rings that got posted are amazing!

Plaese post a pic when you find your ring. I’m all about the ring glamour shots here on the ‘Bee
