Ambers61582:  I LOVE my natural sapphire. They tried to sell us lab created as the natural is extremely dark blue but the dark blue is exactly what I wanted.

Ambers61582:  I inherited my godmother’s antique ering. It’s from the Victorian period. The sapphire is very, very, inky blue. It is bezel set with an old cut diamond halo. It’s really a cool piece and it reminds me of her so much. I am a huge antique/vintage fan as well!

Gorgeous, gorgeous sapphire rings, everyone! I love looking at them, and can’t get enough. Each one is amazing.

Not vintage at all, but I have a sapphire ring that I wear as a RHR. It’s a wire-wrap setting, which is a bit different.

This is my very favourite dream ring. Sadly I don’t own it but I hope to one day. It’s from the art deco period. Le drool. Le drool.

Lovely rings everyone – I love colour.

My sapphire ering is brand new and not blue, but I think it still has a vintage feel to it

Perfectionist:  Love your ring! I love how the center stone is in a bezel, but also has some space between it and the halo. I think it makes your gorgeous stone really stand out. What type of sapphire is it? (Hopefully, you don’t mind me asking …)

longtimemrs:  Thanks  It’s just a pale pink sapphire.  I think the vendor (gemfix) described it as light pink with peach flashes.  I’ve lusted after a padparadsha sapphire (mix of orange and pink together), but they’re too expensive for me to justify.  So, I found a peachy-pink stone and set it in the yellow gold bezel to help bring out more peachiness.
