We were not going to have a ring bearer and then we were and now we are not (final decision). In the phase that we were having one, I bought some fabric and stuffing and made one of those Martha inspired flower on a pillow ring pillow deals. If you are totally confused check the DIY section of this website or Martha's own and you'll have an idea. It is tiny and cute and I was ever so meticulous in sewing the whole thing by hand so I want to use it somehow. Any idea on how I can incorporate a small pillow with a large satin flower on it? I'm thinking o having the best man use it to hold the rings but he's of the manly variety and I don't think he'll be on board with that ;)

Could you use it as a centerpiece on your head table somewhere?  (you can ALWAYS use it as a decoration in your home later)

What about sticking it in with one of your centerpieces? Maybe a pillow toss for the kids?

if you make another one maybe you can use them as decorations on you and your husband's chairs at the wedding.  maybe the flower girl can carry it if you have one.  it's hard to say with out seeing a pic and knowing the size.

all great suggestions but we are not having any kids so no flower girl either and no kids on the guest list.

Also the centerpieces are flowers in a pot so I don't see that working.

It is about 6 inches square if that helps.

Do you think the priest will let us put it on the alter with the rings tied on? That could be functional but I'm just not sure if it is appropriate to put anything on the alter.

@slicey19: that's actually a pretty cool idea!  I'd definitely ask.  Otherwise, perhaps if it's that small, you could attach it to a bouquet?  either yours or your MOH?
