I just finished my first draft of the ring pillow today. Actually, I made two since I haven’t decided if I wanted the rustic burlap look, or the romantic lace look.
My wedding theme is that of a vintage UP inspired theme. And the ceremony will be in a church.
Please let me know what you think. In addition, I am not sure if I should position the ring ties underneath the flower, or have it in one of the lower corner…

Did you sew these yourself? They look great! I like the one with the burlap since you’re going for a vintage theme. And for the rings, I think it would be cute if you had them tied down in the middle of the flower and maybe having them peep through if you can. Love it!

I love them! I would go with the burlap one – I like that one a tad more. I’m not sure what you mean by putting the rings underneath the flower… I would put them where you can see them. I agree with mysa8 -put them tied into the middle of the flower.
I love that you’re doing an UP theme! SO cute and I love the music from the movie

Wow, I thought the lace would have this hands down but apparently not lol You did a wonderful job btw! I will take the lace if you don’t want it lol

Thanks a lot ladies for the positive feedback! Makes a huge difference to me!
@mysa8: Yes, I sewed this myself. With a lot of help from the Future Mother-In-Law since I can’t operate the sewing machine. LOL! Will try making the ties in the middle once I get some jute strings! 🙂
@soontobemrsm11 I initially thought the lace would have been the more popular one too! So, it is really surprising that the burlap one had such positive feedback! Long way till ya wedding… I totally won’t mind making you one after I am done with my wedding! 🙂
@ahrosenb Basically I was surfing on etsy and saw a lot of pillows I like, but none exactly in the vision I wanted, so I decided to make my own. basically, I cut fabric into squares and sew them inside out and flipped them around, and stuffed them with fillings and sealed them. It really depends on the look you want to achieve. PM me if you need help on this.
Once again, thanks a lot babe! With the crazy long list of DIYs, it is awesome to get feedback from other brides-to-be!

If you are going with a vintage theme, I personally am a bigger fan of the lace pillow. 🙂 But the burlap one is cute also. I can’t believe you did those yourself! Wow. And also with the lace one should you choose to use that one, it would look cool with a different color lace like ivory over matching the flower on top. Or do a variation of the burlap pillow without the burlap. That would be gorgeous too! 🙂 But they are both beautiful either way! 🙂
