Has anyone found any good resources for pillows?  I'm looking for one that isn't, um, fluffy.  Our wedding is more architectural in feel (lots of squares for a design motif.)  All the pillows I've found so far are very poofy and lacy, if you get my meaning.  I do have some sewing skills, so I could easily attach a ribbon and button to a normal throw pillow.  However, I've struck out at all the usual places like Target, Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel and Restoration Hardware.  Any other ideas?  Thanks!

I love the selection of pillows at Pier 1.

Who says it has to be an actual pillow? You can use any fanciful object, attach some ribbons, and there you have it. One creative idea may be to use one those giant flat seashells and glue ribbons to the mother-of-pearl interior side to "cradle" the rings inside the shell. Or create a platform of woven branches and tulle... or to match your square theme, you can try a sturdy square base covered in beautiful origami paper... let your imagination run wild!

I actually used e-bay.  I remember a lot of pillows that looked more like cushions and weren't fluffy.  I ended up going with a teddy bear holding a ring bearer pillow.  *_*

This may sound weird because I can't find a picture, but I'll try to describe. I saw this gorgeous "pillow" made square floral foam covered with those small, tight green ball-flowers (I have no idea what they are). It was very modern looking, and really nice.

    That might be an alternative.
