My finace and i have been looking for a ring together because he says he wants to get me exactly what i want lol
Anyway, i want a moissanite ring so i found one on moissaniteco.com that i love and my fiance thinks its beautiful too. I am worried about cleaning it tho… what do you think?? any advice? do any of you have a ring with grooves and “holes” in it like this one does??

I swear by Diamond Dazzle Stick. It’s got a brush that deposits the cleaner that will get into those tiny grooves. It’s how I clean parts of the teeny tiny pave on my ring.

I highly, highly recommend moissy! Im crazy about my ring and never hear anything but “its beatiful”. The cleaning is like any other ring or stone, and the website reccomends using “gemcare” its all natural and available on amazon.com…. I think this is the best option, because i dont even like using chemical cleaners on my tiffanys sterling silver ring.

I use one drop of dawn dish soap in warm water and a baby soft toothbrush without any sort of flouride or coloring, just plain bristles. Works very well.

I just use the normal jewelry cleaner that comes in a jar with a little brush. 2 – 3 times a week I just drop it into the jar when I get in the shower, afterwards I take it out and use the brush on all the crevices. It always looks awesome after being cleaned and you won’t hurt it.
I have moissanite too 🙂 LOVE it. It’s from Moissanite & Co and is set in palladium.
Anything you can use on diamond you can use on moissanite. The home cleaning suggestions are good too, it’s just more convenient for me to have the little jar. If/when it runs out (it will last FOREVER), I’ll probably refill it with something from home.

Jewel-Brite is a nice product, it comes with a liquid cleaner gentle enough for even opals and pearls as well as a seperate tarnish remover, to get that gunk off your setting, since it’s impossible to keep it shiny without! I use that once a week when I’m doing my nails, my ring looks as good as new, five years later!

@NAvery: Awesome, I want to get mine in palladium too! Do you mind telling me the name/brand of the cleaner you use??

@klt2010: It’s just the Connoisseurs jewelry cleaner that comes in a red little jar. I got it at Target, they sell it at any drug store. It’s not fancy or natural or anything like that, but it works really well and the format of being in a jar is perfect for me.
They also make the dazzle stick, I actually really want to pick one up for when I am traveling.
