well, i'm about 2.5hours away in Pensacola, Florida; but if you are wiling to take adrive on over I HIGHLY recommend two stores here. 1 Jewelers Trade Shop http://www.jewelerstradeshop.com/ is where my FI bought my e-ring and he speaks VERY highly about the whole process as the store is family owned and they have a wide variety of availabilities. 2nd up is where we got our wedding rings, Susan Campbell Jewelry. http://www.susancampbelljewelry.com/ Its a small boutique shop of small artisan jewelry. And we know and LOVE Susan. http://barefootstargazer.blogspot.com/search?q=susan+campbell They are only 2 blocks away from each other and you can have great pizza and beer form Hop Jacks or yummy tapas from Global Grill... all within walking distance of these two shops.
Aucoin-Hart on Old Metairie Road!!! They have an awesome selection and it's family owned and has been around forever! My husband was very impressed with their service and prices when he got my e-ring, so we went back for our bands and the service was awesome. The salesman gave us a great deal on the bands, knocking off a couple hundred $$ without us even asking. HTH, Good luck!
I got my FI's wedding band on eBay for $25 and its a Tungsten Carbide and stamped. I have to get my engagement ring remounted to match my wedding band and I am planning on buying on line also because it is like half the price. So sometimes its better to look outside the area and surf the net.

Hey New Orleans brides!
I'm currently living in New Orleans, but we're having our ceremony in St. Louis. The boy and I are trying to buy as much wedding stuff local as possible (you know, economy and all), so I was wondering.... any recommendations out there for jewelers for our wedding rings? Have you all had any wonderful or awful experiences at area jewelry stores? Thanks for the help!
