So my boyfriend (of over 3 years) and I went to look at rings this past weekend. It was his idea, and of course I was ecstatic! I had been checking out online Websites for awhile, and even had a couple styles bookmarked so in case he had gone on his own – he had an idea of what I liked (round with a halo setting). I think I was more overwhelmed with the process of looking and trying on than he was. Did anyone else experience it? Maybe I was just nervous, ha.
It was a good experience, got a lot of information, and narrowed it down to a couple choices, but he knows which one I would rather have when the time came for him to pick it out. I know I could go to other stores (we just went to one) to check out other styles, and prices, but would it be necessary? Unfortunately, the one I really like is way more than I would want him to spend on a ring, but he said it was fine – so I guess that’s OK? I’m sure he won’t propose for a few months, but at least we got the ball rolling. 🙂
