Some people lose weight in their fingers when they’ve lost weight all around. My finger size varies between a 5.5 to a 6.5 when I’ve lost weight. Some people don’t lose weight in their fingers at all. Water weight could also shrink or expand your finger size. There are many factors.

Blueghostgirl:  Your left hand fingers are also smaller than your right hand. I hear a size 8-8.5 on my left and a 9 on my right.

My ring size fluctuates half a size, so I got it in the larger size. In the fall, winter, and spring, my ring spins a lot, but it fits perfectly in the summer.

I wear a stack of several 1mm gold bands on my right hand, so if my e-ring feels like it’s going to fall off in the winter (really cold!), I just pop on one of the super thin RH bands to keep it in place. The stacking bands are my usual ring size, so on hot summer days, I don’t wear them for fear of muffintop.

I was sized by one store as a 5.75. I decided to get my ering in a 6 for comfort. I had mornings initially when I woke up and my fingers were swollen and it felt uncomfortably tight. But somehow that’s stopped happening in the year i’ve had it. Now it’s spinning one day and perfect the next  (no major weight change). i think my fingers are just really sensitive to what I eat, what the humidity is, and the temp. I definitely change a full ring size depending on the day!

Blueghostgirl:  Oh gotcha! Yeah I’ve worn a size 7 on my left hand where I ususally wear an 8.5 so I hear you!
