So I recently got engaged in August and My ring seems to be a tad snug. We ordered a 6.5 because my fingeea tend to go down a whole size in the winter. I dont know how many of you have experienced this, but the 6.5 is a tad snug and in the morning sometimea when I wake up my fingee feels likeits being strangled lol. I am thinking of going up to a seven , however I am not sure if that will be too loose in the winter. I guess my question is …Do they make something that can be worn temporarily in winter to keep ring from being so loose but that can be removed in the summer ? This bloated finger look is driving me nuts !!! Lol..Am I the only one ?
Here is a couple of pics. They are cell phone pics so not best quality just to give an idea …

My fingers swell so much in summer, so i understand! I know they make sizing beads to add to your ring, there was a post previously about it. Try searching for it.

it doesn’t look snug but if it’s uncomfortable then maybe resize it a bit. you may also want to wait until the cold weather comes to see how loose it becomes in the winter.

@T2323: We all go through it haha! Just as PP stated you should really wait for the winter and fall because trust me, when that cold weather comes and it’s loose, you’re not going to believe how it was once snug! Not sure what your climate is, but here in Chicago it’s only warm for a couple months.

@T2323: A ring snuggie, while annoying, will help if your fingers shrink a lot in the winter. I’d wait it out for now, it’s hot and fingers tend to swell when it’s hot! I have the opposite problem, a spinning ring, and I use clear jewelry string stuff and just tie one or two knots on the bottom of my ring to keep it from spinning.

@T2323: I recently had my rings sized up because of swelling. I went up a 1/2 size. It is perfect. I live in a tropical environment so I know winter is short. I found a clear gel that you can put in the bottom of your ring that peels out easily. It is comfortable and flexible. Does not hurt the rings. A jeweler suggested it for my non swell days 🙂 I hate feeling claustrophobic in my rings.

It’s going to be even tighter with a wedding band on. I’d size it up half a size of even 1 whole size and add sizing beads to accommodate for when your fingers shrink!
