Ring Thickness?

I think you should measure your e-ring’s thickness and try to match that or go a little thinner.

2mm thick is super chunky. I have seen even 1.5mm thick rings advertised as “comfort fit” so that is already quite solid.

 

I have a 6mm wide band-style RHR that is a bit under 2mm thick (maybe like 1.7-1.8), and it is really very chunky and heavy as you can see from the pic:

 

So, if you prefer the really substantial look and feel (especially your guy might prefer this) then go for 2mm. Personally I have small hands and feel that with 2mm thickness, it takes up a lot of room between my fingers, and that’s not comfortable for everyone.
