I like it.  But, I generally like pretty unique names.  Not like Apple or anything lol but River is ok.

I probably wouldn’t like it as a first name, but as a middle it’s not bad!

I like it.  And I am guessing your last name is Irish?  River is very Irish in my head. 🙂

Ironic you mentioned this because I mentioned it to DH last night as a possible name.  Our DD is named Phoenix(more for the meaning behing the Greek myth than anything) which is partially because of River Phoenix.  So I said what about River?  He made a face BUT didn’t say no!  haha

When I saw the title I thought about Dr Who. I think as a middle name it is pretty!

😀 I like it a lot! I’d like it as a first name too, ’cause I’m into the weird names. My middle name is super weird and I started going by it in my everyday life, so your daughter might appreciate it.

I like it.  But then, DH and I are planning to name our daughter (if we ever have one) after the River Song character from Doctor Who.

@iheartnerds:  This doesn’t answer your question at all, but I LOVE the name Caroline McK. I think the repetition of the K sound is really adorable.

As for the middle name River, it’s a little hippie for my taste but I think it sounds very nice with the rest of her name.

I like it! My FI and I met a set of new grandparents and a new father the day his nephew was born in the hospital and they named the baby girl River Rae or maybe it was River Rain. I can’t remember. I know the mothers parents thought it was bizarre because they rolled their eyes a little when they told us the name of their new granddaughter, but FI and I thought it was neat. 🙂
