Hi Lupe,

I decided to have a garden wedding because I didn’t think I could get married at a Catholic church. My fiance did not do his confirmation and I was only baptized. Once I booked our venue and everything, I called St. Thomas in Riverside. Apparently, they said the only have three requirements:

1. Both of us had to have our baptismal certificates.

2. A weekend wedding counseling session

3. 6 months advance notice.

Had I checked on this before, we probably would have gone that route but it’s too late. Anyway, hope that helps!
