Crazeebee3 – I’m in Rochester.  My wife and I own a menswear/tuxedo shop here. If you have questions about the wedding scene, I’m happy to point you in the right direction if I can 🙂

I live in Rochester but actually got married in Ithaca. I did use some vendors from here, some that I could recommend! let me know if you need help.

Crazeebee3:  Hi! We live in Ithaca but are getting married in Geneva… so we’re looking at vendors in the Rochester area. Did you pick a venue yet?

Crazeebee3:  Yup, we’re doing ceremony and reception at the Ramada Lakefront in Geneva. Visiting venues was hands down the most overwhelming part of planning so far, and we were really happy after we decided, to just know WHERE all of the fun stuff will be going down! Now we’re slowly putting together all of the other details. Your venue looks really nice – I love places that have a balcony level!

I’m in Buffalo, but since our cities are neighbors I thought I’d pop in and say hi 🙂

Crazeebee3:  We are getting married at the statler (statler city) in downtown buffalo (in the golden ballroom)! So excited.

For your rochester rehersal dinner, what are you looking to spend? How many people?

Crazeebee3:  Same here, it’s going. We had a long engagement so I was of the “we have plenty of time” mindset. Then February hit and I started to get really anxious. We have our ceremony (Highland Park), reception/caterer (Artisan Works), photographer (Ali Beck), officiant and limo (Excel) booked. Still working on invitations, flowers, cake, groom’s outfit, rings, etc. omg 🙂 I made a to do list the other day and got really overwhelmed. I’m sure it will all come together though.

I have been to two weddings at the IACC and they were great! We are also in the process of booking our rehearsal dinner. Do you prefer yours to be near the IACC? I don’t know of many rehearsal appropriate restaurants west of Rochester, but there are plenty that are in the city or eastern suburbs

springbride23:  I live in Irondequoit! Welcome, new neighbor. 🙂
