I've never been there but my fiance's sister looked into it for her wedding and it's absolutely gorgeous! We're having ours at Poet's Cove on Pender Island which is a quite similar resort.
@awcm: Oh yes we considered Poet's Cove as well!! We ended up booking the Rockwater site unseen and will visit the venue in person for the first time this March. I've seen a million pictures and heard great things but I still can't wait to see it in person!

@awcm: PS: Ooooh I just googled Poet's Cove again since it's been almost a year since I was venue searching and I was THISCLOSE to booking that venue. I LOVE the photo on the weddings page!! I think it didn't work as well logistically as Rockwater and that's why we didn't end up booking. GORGEOUS location though :)
That's so awesome! I love the idea of a semi-destination wedding because you get a whole weekend with most of the guests but others still have the option for coming for the one day. I think we'll have to go check out Rockwater for a weekend sometime because it looks so nice! Good luck with the rest of your planning :)

This is my venue! Any other bee's get married here? I know it's a VERY popular wedding destination on the Sunshine Coast/in the Vancouver area so just curious if anyone else was married there or attended a wedding there and has any input!
