So, I’ve already shared quite a bit from my wedding. From our photographer blogging us 3 days later, to sharing random guest photos, I’ve shared a lot. I couldn’t resist! But I was always planning on doing a play by play when we recieved our disk, so here it is!
We got ready at a lodge about 4 miles from the wedding venue, where about 20 of us were staying for the weekend.
We did our own hair and makeup…I feel like our photographer may have not gotten to get as many interesting shots when its DIY. I also had trouble trying to wrangle my bridesmaids and friends to get ready in our suite…so the pics are kinda “me” heavy.
My awesome sister took so long having to do my hair and her kiddo’s hair that she didn’t have time to do hers the way she wanted. 🙁
My nephew wasn’t sure he was allowed in the “girls room.”
My late grandmother’s handkerchief as my something old.
Note the garter that my awesome friend Sam knitted for me!
After getting ready (mostly) at the lodge, we drove over to The Barn at Fallingwater. There is a farmhouse nextdoor that you can change in, and my dress was waiting for me there.
When I arrived, I was surprised to find two of my aunts waiting in there because they didn’t know where else to go!
My sister’s earrings were my something borrowed. Everything was new! And for something blue…take your pick. (2 rings and my boots.)
Next up: boys getting ready!

@Soon2BD-CBee: Thank you! At one point someone (I forget who, I think probably our photographer,) pulled me aside and said it was one of the most laid back weddings she had ever been to. That was really nice to hear.

@FoolsintheRain: Etsy! Seller is Ana Molnar, and this was custom (and inexpensive.) Highly reccommend.
@Sunnyday278: Absolutely. They are Corral’s; turquise cortez I found a few links where they are still have a few for sale.

@couawilou: It was a surprisingly calm day. We had enough hecticness the 3 days before, I guess!

Heyo, me again. I realized I forgot very important pictures that the recaps would be incomplete without.
That there was my momma’s wedding dress. We cut it and took of the sleeves and the collar and I wore it to the rehearsal dinner. No pics of me in it–yet, I know Mother-In-Law took some–but damn, I loved this dress.
