Today I tried on some dresses..I was planning on getting an Ombre dress by Mori Lee, but decided not to. Right now I’m torn. Should I go with a romantic flowy dress, or with a slimmer fit like the second option?
Our theme is going to be famous literary couples.

@maniccupcake: i like dress 2…even though its sexy i still think its a little romantic too 🙂

The first one looks more flattering.

I love them both! I think 2 is SUPER pretty and flattering on you, but I think 1 goes more with your theme and is very elegant. I’m going with #1 🙂

I think the first one fits your theme better and is more classic. You look great in both!

I love them both! Though I agree with PPs, the second one looks romantic AND sexy to me!

I prefer dress #1. However, I think you should consider a drop-waist A-line or ball gown instead of a gathered-waist one.

Was this your first shopping trip? If so, I say go for a few more appointments. You look wonderful in both, but it sounds as though you might regret choosing too early if you don’t try on some of your original likes (Mori Lee).

I voted number 1, but I agree with others that #2 is still romantic. Which one do you feel more amazing in?

The first one fits your theme WAY better!! But I think it would look far more flattering as a sweetheart, which your seamstress can do no problem.

Keep shopping. I like the look of the first one but the fit isn’t right. The second one is super popular right now so I find it more modern than romantic.

This is probably my 5th time trying on dresses. I just have commitment issues 😉

I might wait and keep looking..I just worry that time is limited. How long can I wait to order?
And I did try on the original Mori Lee dress I wanted. I came thisclose to ordering it, but it wasn’t as flattering as these.
Do I have time to wait for the new 2014 lines to come out?

Definitely the first one! It’s perfect for your theme and it looks amazing on you.
