    my ladies....

i just got back from florida and got an excellent tan/burn!  parts of me are peeling (chest and shoulders) and other parts of me are a yummy golden brown color (legs, arms, face!) so, i want to hit up the tanning booth/bed but i gotta know...can i still go while i'm peeling a little bit?  my wedding is in august, andi live me maine...the sun isn't always shining..and good tanning weather in maine doesn't really happen until like july!  so i want to keep up my base...any suggestions?

I used to work in a tanning salon. Be sure to keep yourself well moisturized. I would also invest in a tanning creme with bronzer to keep a golden color. This will help even out any blotchiness that make come about from peeling.

While I used to work in a tanning salon, I just want to suggest looking into other options for keeping a tan going. Bronzing lotions can help maintain color and with summer around the corner, you can keep up with the base. Tanning booths are SO bad for your skin so if you do choose to keep tanning, please don't overdo it!

I'm not sure that you should go while you're still peeling. I'm sure it would be really painful to get a burn on top of a burn! I can advise you to moisturize like heck through if you want to keep that base. It should also help with the peeling...

I highly recommend Designer Skin lotions. I have been tanning for years off and on and it is by far my favorite.

Ray of Light is awesome and it smells really pretty not "tanning lotion" like.

Also, Helioderm by California Tan is a great moisturizer.

I agree with j nicolle....I would moisturize to all get out but not tan until your peeling skin goes away.
