This has been such a tough decision for me. My FI has left the decor up to me which is awesome, but at the same time I have to find something that is neutral and that we'll both like. I'm really into the more modern looks, but for now I want to do something that will fit the furniture that he already has until we buy a new set down the line. He has a mahogany bedroom set and the bed has 4 tall posts.

Which one do you like best?

    Thanks Bees!

can you touch them? I think the feel is the most important! I always buy bedding by touch!

I like the second one. But my only concern is that they're all kinda trendy....do you think you'll want it in a year or two? Will it go with all your decor? And is it super comfy? I'm kinda anal about not buying things too trendy--i hate to replace things just because i don't like them anymore. I really like the touches of blue they have on the walls though.

I voted for 2, but I kind of dig the bird pillow!

Thanks so much ladies for the feedback!

ejs4y8: clearly see what you're saying about the trendy comforters. I like really trendy, but with his bedroom furniture I'm looking for something right in the middle that I can play up or down depending on where we end up living and what we have to work with. It's a great point though and I'll have to keep it in mind...I'm a huge fan of contrast too so I like the little hints of blue and how I can maybe find another toss pillow with another color to work with.

Baileyh: Got it at Bed Bath & Beyond- it's currently out of stock online but they have them in the stores :)

I don't mind the bird pillow, but I don't think my FI would be a fan

I said the second one - it is super pretty! I really like the wall color in that pic too... and the bed... I just want that room lol But yeah I think most importantly just make sure it is something you'll want for a long time.

where is the 3rd one? that's my personal fav...I woulda said the 2nd one but I looked at it at Bed Bath & Beyond too and the pattern is like shimmery, metallic almost..its not just neutral. I don't know how you feel about that but that made me cross it off my list, cuz I really liked that one too!

Personally - I don't like white/off-white bedding.  It shoes dirt, spills, stains, etc too easily and is hard to get really clean again.  It looks really nice at first but it's very hard to keep that way.  Therefore, I voted for #1.  Just something to think about!

Agree with vistagirl!  I always put quality of fabric above look of sheets when it comes to shopping for bedding because, well, you're not going to be seeing them while you're sleeping, but you will be feeling them!  Have you been able to touch them?

If they're all roughtly the same quality, I'd go with number two, which I think is prettiest, though if your bedroom set is very traditional, the more modern/trendy bedspread might look a little weird?  What's the rest of your furniture like?

I like the third best, but definitely agree that choosing the most comfy one takes precedence - you do have to sleep in it every night! They are all pretty, though.

Thanks Bees!! I'm actually at this again because like krista24 said- I went to BBB and it looks so different from the picture. Thanks for pointing out the offwhite problem... Now I'm leaning more towards the 3rd one and this new one that my FH now likes but I think is too masculine and a little dull. What do you think? I also just came across this Moroccan one that might work- I'm seriously incredibly indecisive... I'll take pictures of the set ASAP and post them.

    All from BBB btw

In your original post, I liked #3.

In the new set of choices, I love the second! Gorgeous, romantic, and not overly masculine or feminine. :)
