<br />I can’t go to your links (I’m at work and they blocked it for whatever reason)… but we have 2 sofa sets from RTG, 1 is a leather set and the other is fabric- not sure what brand it is but they are nice pieces.

We have had both sets for only a few months so not can’t vouch for their long term use but so far so good. The leather cleans easy (they gave us a cleaning liquid thing) and they do cleaning service if you call them they will come clean the fabric sofa for us. They are both VERY comfortable. I slept on the fabric sofa for a few nights before my mattress and bed set came in and I slept through the night without any neck pain in the morning.

I do, however, use the leather set more often because I use my work computer in that room and I have accidently marked it several times with a red ink pen and it came off easily with the cleaning solution thing… I have ran my laptop and things with sharp corners and such across the arm part of the sofa and it didn’t tear the leather or scratch it… the sofa is pretty durable in my opinion.

I highly recommend esp if you only plan on using them for a few years.

cooperlove:  Oh! Also… my friend has a sofa set that is from the Cindy Crawford line and she loves it! She also has a dog (a small white one… not sure of breed) and she is constantly on the couch and jumping and doing dog things and not one scratch or tear on that either.

Good luck on your sofa search!

Rooms to Go doesn’t have their own private brand so really the quality of the sofa is going to come down to the brand/manufacturer you choose. That said, we got a bed from Rooms to Go, a few years ago, and were not happy with the process overall. There were a lot of hidden fees that they didn’t tell us about till after we had already agreed to purchase. Delivery was something like $150 and then there was an extra fee because the apartment we had at the time was up a flight of stairs plus another fee to haul away the packaging material and no option to decline and just throw it in the dumpster ourselves (ummm really? because that is like Dominos charging $2 more to put your pizza in a box before they deliver it and not letting you put the box in the trash on your own) and the delivery window they gave us was ridiculous, like 8-6, so one of us had to stay home all day.  I don’t think I would buy from them again.

cooperlove:  I had a RTG sofa for a while and didn’t like it. But it was the fabric more than the actual sofa. It was red and would literally get on your clothes! Gross and embarassing. And stupid.

cooperlove:  I think this is the one that I got, the second link.  I bought my house in June 2012, and guess what 2 and half years later, couch is going strong!  And I sit on it every day at least.  We only have a cat though maybe that’s why ours has lasted.

cooperlove: Ive had my set for 2 1/2 years. also from the Cindy Crawford line. I love it and it still looks great! No small kids though, just kitties, that dont scratch it!! this is when we first got it, before I finished decorating our house.

cooperlove:  I think it’s a little lower, but for the most part still looks really nice.
