I don’t think it’s a big deal, and I think rose gold would look gorgeous with a rosy center stone.

@mrspinesol:  Would look so pretty! Maybe you can mix both on your ring?!

I have beautiful three tone earrings – they have yellow, white and rose gold and they work great together. I can’t imagine that your jewellery will be any different.

@mrspinesol:  Honestly, mixing metals has been an encouraged “trend” for the past couple years. I don’t think anyone would think twice about it, so you should definitely get what you want.

I personally love to mix metals! I wear a yellow gold necklace that I never take off and a yellow gold ring with a white gold ring on my right “bird” finger.

My engagement ring is white gold and my wedding ring will be also! My watch that I usually wear is yellow gold.

I personally buy what I love no matter the metal color 🙂

I think your ring will look GORGEOUS in rose gold. I say go for it!! And while you’re at it buy a few rose gold pieces to wear every once in while to mix in with your white gold 🙂 I love any excuse to buy jewelry and that sounds like a good one to me!

I mix metals with reckless abandon, it’s awesome.

I mix and match white and rose metals all the time. My wedding band is going to be half rose and half white, so it will always match everything.

@mrspinesol:  I adore peach sapphires/morganites/pink moissy set in rose gold. I also love the look of mismatched bands too! You could set the ring in rose gold and get a white gold band to make the ering cohesive with the rest of your jewelry or you can try getting a WG e-ring and maybe a rose gold band for each side? Then if you feel like you don’t love the rose gold or it isn’t as matchy as you would like you can maybe get different bands?

If you like the mismatched rose gold bands idea with the WG e-ring, try going to berricle.com and just buying some cheap CZ ones, just to get an idea on whether or not you like the look. You might try ebay or etsy too. That way you can test drive a few things before you decide!!

There’s a thread on mismatched erings and wedding rings that might give you inspiration. I love the look of mismatched stacks!!

@mrspinesol:  I love the look of whmixed with rose or yellow.  My ering is white gold and my wedding band is yellow gold…..I wanted both!  You could do your ering rose gold with the stone and your band white?  And that would go perfect with your necklace!

@mrspinesol:  I do not think that an e-ring needs to be matched to other jewelry at all.  It’s special and it doesn’t need to match!

i mix metals all the time. I’m currently wearing two rose gold items (a ring and a watch), one yellow gold (a ring) and one white gold (my necklace)

Mixing is fun!
