I've never really been a fan of mixing rose gold with other 'colors' of gold, so I say a rose gold band.
I just had to stop in and say GORGEUOS ring & congrats!
Also I love rose gold & I love the mix of rose & white gold together!
I swoon over just about anything in rose gold... and I think a rose gold band would look great, you can always try it on with a plain white gold band to see if you like the look, but I would go with rose

my ring is white gold and i'm thinking about adding two rose gold bands because i like two tone gold rings (two so it's symmetrical, i'm a freak about that.) i think yours would look gorgeous with either color really so i'm not too much help lol :)
I love the look of white & rose gold mixed, so if you were choosing a band based off my opinion, I'd say definitely mix metals!
I love rose gold and white gold together, so pretty! Maybe you could do a rose gold band with morganites and diamonds?? Something like that would be so unique and pretty :)

I'm so happy to have discovered the beauty of rose gold. (It's a good thing I feel that way since my engagement ring and wedding band came as a matching set & I'll be donning a good deal of it on my left hand for years to come.)

@flying_hearts: very beautiful ring flying hearts! What kind of center stone is it? I love rose gold too, unfortunately the FI does not... platinum it is for me... hopefully it will get out of the box and on to my finger soon so I can post some pictures for you ladies!

@Simone2013: I actually think a white gold band would look stunning with your engagement ring. You've got a lot of pink going with the rose gold and the morganite, which is gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but I think a white gold band would be a nice complement to your lovely white diamond center.
Have you tried on any bands with it yet? You might find you have strong feelings one way or the other when you actually see the options on your finger.
@globalmargaret: Thank you! The larger center stone is a green sapphire and the smaller stones are varying shades of chocolate diamonds. SO & I gave up on the idea of matching bands... I can't seem to convince him that rose gold is the way to go. Oh well :P I can't wait to see your ring - I bet it's beautiful!

I had a similar concern because my E-ring is mostly rose gold too --
That's my E-ring with my morganite RHR under it :) The picture is kinda weird because I used the HDR thing on my iphone but anyway...
I'm not getting married for a few years, so my tastes may change but this is what I've decided on at the moment, a white gold band with thin bands of rose gold on the edges. This one is by Tiffany and 2mm, but you get the idea:
I'm not sure if you're at all interested in titanium, but I've seen some really neat titanium bands with rose gold inlay. If you did something like that you could tie the rings together that way.
Hmmm. I think a white gold band would really make the diamond pop! There's a lot of pink already. Gorgeous ring!

Newly engaged just before Christmas 2011 and LOVE my ring!
We designed it together- rose gold, with a round center diamond, and small pink morganite side stones.
But now the question.... rose gold wedding band, or white, or maybe dual tone? Any other brides out there with rose gold rings have any ideas/suggestions?
