I am picking out an engagement ring. Fiance is leaving it entirely down to me
I do love the look of rose gold. I like the idea of a coloured stone either a fancy diamond in pale peach to cognac or chocolate, or champagne sapphire or morganite. As an alternative I do like the pale blue of aquamarine and the contrast between the cool blue and the warm gold.
I have to say that Halos are not me.
Having said this I have no idea what I would like the ring to look like so ladies please show me your rings or rings that you have seen to give me some ideas before I go speak to our local jewllers.

I have already picked my wedding band. A nice simple one, with a touch of rare welsh gold

@yorkiemad00: I think you should go to a jewelry store to get an idea of the styles you like. They will mainly have white metals with diamonds but it will let you know if you’re looking for a three-stone, a solitaire, or a ring with side detials, etc. I always assumed I would get a princess solitaire (child of the 80s) but when I tried it on, I hated the way it looked on me. It is important to know what you look on your hand and not just on others. Just try not to get attached to any one ring because you can almost always find the same ring online or have a local non-name brand jeweler custom make it for you.

I’m still waiting on my rose gold e-ring to be on my finger, but I chose a ring that I LOVE that was in white gold, and SO is having it made in Rose Gold for me 🙂 RG looks way better on my skin than WG, its a warmer tone for my olive skin. I suggest doing the same! Look at WG options, and see if they can make one you love in RG!
