hello bees! I have decided on getting a rose gold halo engagement ring, but am now wondering about the wedding band. I like the idea of having mismatched rings, including different gold tones. Does anyone out there have a rose gold halo e-ring with another gold (white, yellow or black) wedding band?? pics please 🙂 ! Thanks y’all!!

@Pre-Greenlee: I have the opposite combination, a platinum e-ring and two wedding bands, one white and one rose gold! I love the mismatched look too 🙂

@Pre-Greenlee: Go for it! We are past the days of mixed metals “clashing”…now anything goes! I love when people have all three together actually.

@Scintillante & @Bridey77 — thanks for sharing. I think I’m gonna go for it!

I have a rose gold halo and my wedding band is a cartier trinity in yellow, white, and rose gold. I think it looks lovely.

I have a white gold, twisted shank halo e-ring. I tried it on with my grandmother’s wedding band (a 1mm yellow gold with 3 small diamonds) the other day. I’m not crazy about the mixed metals. I’m taking the ring to see if it can be re-dipped in white gold. I’m totally in love with the idea of wearing her band, so if it doesn’t work it’ll be mixed metals. But it sits under the basket of my halo, so it gets lost a bit and the yellow gold isn’t an obvious difference. In this particular case it’ll look better matching.
Have you tried some bands on to see how it looks with your ring?

@Pre-Greenlee: I’m in love with mixed metals, and waiting on my RG band any day now. I also switched out the halo in my ring for a RG one. I love it!
