Not Sam’s club, but I’ve heard great things about Costo and fiftyflowers.com. Good luck!

I just ordered roses from Sam’s Club for my wedding this past Saturday.

They came and were quite nice.  I got the package of the green and white ones.  The green ones did not open as well or as fully as the white ones but were a nice different color.  They seemed a little small, but turned out to be OK.  Also, the stems are not all the same length because of the way they package them.  For me I was cutting them short anyway, so it didn’t matter, but some were definitely about 3 inches shorter than others.

The roses were from Ecuador.  Nice and straight stems.  Some had a lot of thorns – the white ones had more than the green.  They came well packaged and I didn’t have any stems broken.

They held up pretty well.  I still have a lot of them around the house that we took home after the wedding.  The green ones seem to have some bruising or browning showing up on the petal edges a few days after the wedding, and also never opened as fully as the white ones.

This is how I handled them.  Remove the bundled (cardboard around the roses with stems sticking out) roses and after cutting the stems, put them as-is in water for a couple hours (leaving the cardboard on).  After a couple hours remove the cardboard and you can remove the guard petals on the roses and cut the thorns off.  Put back in water to hydrate further for a day.  Next day you can put them into arrangements, etc, fresh cutting the stems.  Be sure you plan enough time – that was where I found to be my biggest issue.

I also ordered one of the wedding collections (has bridal party bouquets, corsages, boutoneires, etc) and all the roses and flowers in that were super amazing.  Very pretty!  Held up really really well.

I didn’t buy bulk from Sams club but purchased their Pink wedding flowers collection. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice and guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were too:

@Scheherazade:  Yes! And they have a whole bunch of different collections to choose from! Here is the link of the collections and I advise anyone wanting to purchase from them to have them delievered to your home 2 days before the wedding not 1 day before to give them time to open up more:

@MeadowsBee:  They supplied flower food and I did use it.  I had them delivered Thursday for my Saturday wedding, and mine arrived about 9am, which was nice.  Wednesday would have also been OK given how long they lasted and they do take a little bit to open and get full.

They come with care instructions.

Buckets are good.  I had some large totes and that worked for the larger bundles of other flowers I had but the roses kept falling over into the water, so I ended up using buckets for them and that was great.

I had them delivered Thurs. for a Saturday wedding and it turned out great.  I had pink and white ones.  the white ones were great, the pink ones opened REALLY fast and by end of the day Saturday weren’t looking great.  But, they worked for the ceremony/reception just fine.  I had no problems ordering from Sams. Would definitely do again!

These are our bouquets that we made Friday night:

I used the bulk peach and cream roses from Sam’s Club for my wedding last June. While this isn’t super recent, I think my experiences might help a bit. 🙂

We receieved the roses on a Thursday and the wedding was that Saturday night. We cared for them by putting them in three or four large buckets full of water and using the flower food that was provided. We also cut them down a little bit as I recall. Basically, follow the directions that they provide and you should be good to go.

I thought the the quality was great and they still looked lovely the night of the wedding.

Here are a few pictures to help you see how they turned out:

@MeadowsBee:  They came Fri morning before noon (other reviewers on Sams also said their flowers arrived before noon) so I think if you get them on a Thurs the flowers would be more open than mine were.

And thanks for the comment! Can you believe the detail in my hair is just rhinestones and pearls you would usually ask your nail tech to put on your nails? They were also on my nails, that’s where the beautician got the idea. My nail tech and my beautician are in the same shop.
