I don’t have a moissanite but I say go for the 7.5mm..Im a size 3.5-4 and use to have a 1.2 carat round diamond which atfirst felt big but it was perfect size once shrinkage syndrome set in

Sharyalick:  I think it depends on your jewelry “style.”  If you like large jewelry, you’ll probably want to get the bigger size because I’ve heard women talk about “shrinkage.”  I personally dislike large center stones on thin/plain bands because it looks so clumsy on my hand (it can look great on other people).  My ring was purchased from a local artisan jeweler, it’s a FB 6mm on a 4.5 finger.

Mine is a diamond, but I have a size 5-5.5 finger and my stone is 1.3 carat RB, just to give you an idea of size.

Sharyalick:  Actully, mine is only a carat and a third and I think it looks big.  If I did a halo, I would not go any bigger than a carat.  That’s just me, though!  Everyone has their own opinion on size and amount of bling.  Mine is perfect for me.  Not too much; not too little!

ETA, I would definitely try some on.  I tried on a very delicate halo with a 1 carat stone in the center and really liked it.  My FI preferred a more solitaire look (and actually, I did too….), so that’s what we went with, because I liked both.  But, I had a ton of finger coverage with the halo.  It was an A Jaffe setting.  I’ll see if I can find it.

    I don’t have an amora, but I have a 1.25ct (7mm) forever brilliant on a 5.5 finger.

I was also picking between all the sizes you are (6.5-7.5) and ended up picking a 7mm because I thought it looked the nicest on my finger size. If you are getting a solitare, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those choices!

Here is a pic of mine:

I voted a 1ct equiv., although mine is a 7.5mm 1.5 ct equiv….I find my stone is a little on the “big” side, and would probably have preferred a little smaller.

Specs: 7.5mm amora moissanite; Ring Size 6.25, although my finger size is actually 5.75-6.
