I personally don’t like cushion cut diaomnds, but I like the pave setting better than the solitaire.  If it were me, I’d get the 2nd setting with a round diamond! YOu can’t go wrong either way, though.  You can dress up a solitaire with blingy bands or an enhancer!

@beebea35:  If it was me, I’d put the round stone on the pave band.  Pics on your finger?

I have a round (on a pave band), so I am partial to them. They are both beautiful settings, though!

@beebea35:  I sooooooooooo love the cushion with pave.   I have a round spit shank pave and wished I had chosen a custion at the time.   With this said.. Go with what you and only you feel is best suited to your individual sense of self and style.

Here’s my ering if you wanted to know how a round pave would look.

They are both so beautiful that you can’t go wrong either way! Have you tried them on? I thought I wanted a cushion until I tried one on and didn’t like how it looked on me. That said, I always admire them on others 🙂 If you haven’t already, I’d suggest tying them on.

As a p.s., my DH proposed with my stone in a knife edge setting so that I could pick out my own. It was totally comfortable. I also now have a pave setting and think it is just the rig amount of sparkle. Happy shopping!

I love a cushion cut stone personally and I love the pave band – it’s never too much!

I am biased because I am not a solitaire sort of person, plus I love the cushion cut! And that cushion cut ring particularly is stunning!!

How Bout the cushion cut on a plain band?  I personally prefer the cushion. Either one will look stunning!

I like both but would not recommend the knife edge.  It won’t sit flush against your wedding band, so keep that in mind.
