I have your knife-edge ring and have to say it’s extremely comfortable.  But I’m definitely more of a plan solitare kind of gal 🙂

I picked the cushion cut with pave since that is almost exactly what I have 🙂 My center stone is a touch smaller though.

I have been wearing it for about a week and love it- the extra sparkle from the pave is incredible! I am so happy with it. I don’t wear any other jewelry so it’s definitely not too much going on for me.

I am partial, because I have a round brilliant knife edge that I abslutely love : ) Although, you can’t go wrong with either, they are both stunning rings!

I have a cushion on a knife edge as an ering.   One of the BB is right about it not sitting flush next to a wedding band.  I wear a spacer between my bands.

Does the round face up bigger than the cushion?  While I love cushions, it faces up smaller than rounds so if you like a ring to look “bigger”, I’d go with the round.

I have a cushion cut and I LOVE it. It’s so unique whereas everyone and their cousin seems to have a round stone.

If you like sparkle, go with the round!

I love round cut definitely. It is the most shining cut for diamonds (my diamond consultant told me).

My ering is knife edge too and it is classic ever.

@beebea35:  from those photos I think the round looks better, it will face up bigger (and so look bigger) than the cushion (unless the cushion has very shallow depth in which case it won’t sparkle as well)

I have a pave band and love the extra bling it gives but that’s just me 😉 the round solitaire is a timeless piece.

Round with knife edge, but I am biased.
