hi bees!! I have a possibly silly question about round stones and cushion halo rings… So, is the setting actually made for a cushion stone, but a round will fit as well? I guess I’m wondering, if I find a 7mm rose gold cushion setting, will a 7mm round morganite fit? Any help is appreciated! Thanks bees 🙂

@Soon_To_Be_Mrs_Biker: my setting was actually made for a round not a cushion (I guess you *could* adjust the prongs to fit a round but the diamonds in the halo would not frame the round stone perfectly and you will likely have a gap/space around the edges)…They actually angle/size the diamonds slightly differently to fit the round shape.
…and of course, the obligatory ring pic 🙂

Yes, you should be fine. I have a round in a cushion shaped halo.

Mine was made for a round but shaped like a cushion. The difference is really between whether the setting is made for your stone or stock. A stock 7mm setting should fit both a 7mm round and a 7mm cushion.

@Soon_To_Be_Mrs_Biker: my setting was custom made to fit my round diamond because I don’t want to see an air line. But I also think a stock setting usually can take both round and rounded cushion stone in the same diameter.
