    Hey bees!

So two nights ago a kitty was lost in BFs building. Naturally we took it in, gave it food and water, bought a litter box etc. The next day I put up tons of lost cat signs, called animals control, put an ad in the paper...and nothing. She's a beautiful, well mannered, trained cat so its obvious she used to belong to someone. But no one has claimed her, in fact someone actually took down some of my signs (I did get permission to post them from my apt. complex so it wasn't them). So BF and I decided to take her to the vet and get her checked out. We got a preliminary clean bill of health and decided if no one claims her we are going to keep her. I'm so excited so I wanted to introduce her to all you bees!

    So meet Roxy!

Aw! She's adorable! I'm assuming she didn't have a microchip? If my kitties got out I'd be devastated, but some people honestly do just abandon their cats.

No microchip. I had her scanned at the vets. I just don't understand how anyone could give her up she's such a love bug

Well bees...someone claimed her. I am happy that she returned home, but I had already gotten attached to this little sweetheart in just a couple of days. So naturally I bawled my eyes out for a little while and SO consoled me, he was very sad too. We might look into adopting a pet after I graduate and know where I'm working. I've wanted a pet for so long I hope I can finally have a critter to call my own.

Awwww :( I'm sorry you had to give her back to the original owners, but I'm sure they were grateful that you took good care of her until they found her!  Did she escape accidentally? How did they know you had her? I hope they are good kitty parents!
