Classy! If it's good enough for the princess, it's good enough for a Bee! : (57 votes)

I thought it was really pretty but not really my style.

@peachbaby4008: You took the words out of my mouth.

I know Alfred Angelo have done one, the assistants at the bridal shop showed me it last week but I can’t see a picture of it on the internet.

Do you mean wearing this dress now that Kate wore it? Or Just the dress style itself? I happen to love the dress but I think it would be a little weird to wear a very close replica, at least for a while (probably until after the trend passes!) But, I’m hoping elements of the dress make it into newer dresses in new and different ways.

I personally loved Kate Middleton’s dress. I also love looking at all of the dresses it’s inspired. If I hadn’t already committed to mine, I think I would be easily swayed to get a dress similar to hers. It’s defintitely an iconic dress, but there are worse things than looking like Kate/Grace or others on your wedding day.

    I’m envisioning:

    Somewhere in China.

Giant rooms full of ladies at sewing machines adding lace sleeves onto case loads of preexisting plain strapless white dresses.

Trend demand answered…factory to you… in two weeks flat.

(FWiW, I think it’s a pretty style.  And even if I wouldn’t want to look like a knock-off, it’s not “trashy”.  Trashy is knocking off a stripper, not a princess.)

I think the dress was beautiful, and I think it’d look lovely on another bride as well.

Give it a year or so, and I’m sure no one will even remember what Kate’s dress looked like. But if the wedding was this summer or something, I would think it would be way too soon.
