That is awesome! I hope that my guests will be this proactive when I mail out my invites.
Wooohooo! My guests were pretty proactive about sending their responses but towards the end, I had to remind a few. In the end, we received them all. I hope it continues to run smoothly for you.
Exciting! That's so much fun, I can't wait to send my invites out! Although this part is the thing I'm most stressed about. I have a feeling that if some people RSVP no, it will affect our relationship... oh man :)
I love getting RSVP's back! Checking the mail is the highlight of my day!
YaY! I'm only having about 100 people at my wedding, but we've gotten about 50 RSVP's back so far! Our deadline was February 15, but I'm sure we'll get some more rolling in...& some people just don't RSVP even if they are coming! They just assume you know!
How exciting! I won't be mailing our invites until July, but I'm really looking forward to getting the responses back!!
My RSVPs are going to my parents...I am almost considering camping out there so I can see them come in.

Yay! Thats a good number. We've only heard back from less than half of ours so far and we're a month ahead of ya. Gotta feeling we're gonna be making some phone calls and sending some emails when our deadline comes around.
Ours seem to be coming in slowly but steadily. My side definitely has it more together than FIs. I am just ready to figure out numbers and tables!

SOOOO exciting!!! Does it make everything feel real? I feel like I am planning something that is so far away that it feels like it is not real.... or maybe I am having a bad day.
@Ms. Caniche....it makes it feel REALLY real...and its FUN! After drowning in wedding stuff for months ans being super overhelmed wishing it would all be over....lol...yay I can be dramatic...I'm finally smiling again about the wedding:-)
yay! i'm excited too- my deadline is the day after yours and i'm sooo enjoying running upstairs and entering the Yes's into my excel spreadsheet! have fun!
It has been fun getting those little cards back. The other fun thing has been almost daily a package waiting to be opened. I never expected to receive wedding gifts this soon!
@vintage2010- Oh now I'm even more excited by the prospect of receiving gifts so soon...lol
After going through all this planning with my daughter~ I WILL never be slow about sending a RSVP back.
Seriously it has given me just NEW MANNERS... the cost of venues, food, entertainment~ to me not answering swiftly is now just on the R U D E list!
I will NEVER be late or slow again.
Congrats for getting so many back, hopefully they all continue to roll in. I 've read so many "SAD" threads/posts about this.
I am so jealous! Today's my deadline and not even half of the guests have responded. :(

@msgthoney....I'm so sorry to hear that....I'm also afraid of that. Although we still have 2 weeks left, there are still a LOT of guests that need to respond. Good luck in getting guests to respond ASAP!
@msgthoney and mrs2thedr, I'm right there with ya'll! Our deadline is next week and we've still only heard from about half. We had a serious lull this week with only one rsvp all week! I hope it'll pick up right before our deadline on the first, although I know we'll be sending a lot of email reminders.
I had to give my mom and FI their own list of people to call. That's on top of my own list. You are so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ladies,
Oh what a delight to open my mailbox yesterday evening and see all those beauties (11 rsvp postcards)...Yay!!! Even though our RSVP deadline is not until March 9th and guests just received their invitation late last week, I am sooooo thankful for those early birds that are making my life so much easier:-)
Ok, so let the fun times begin:
Mailed: 125 invitations (approximately 180-188 people, yeah I stopped counting...lol)
Yes: 10 postcards (17 guests)
No: 1 postcard (2 guests)
