- Wedding: December 2012
I saw an RSVP card somewhere that said something like “Message to the Bride and Groom” on the bottom. I thought it would be neat to do something like that – you’d (hopefully) end up with RSVP cards with nice messages on them, and wouldn’t they be fun to save! So I’ve been trying to figure out a way to word that on our RSVP cards, but I’m having two problems. First, our RSVP cards are written in first person, and “Message for us” sounds crazy. Second, our RSVP cards are tiny, so we’d have to instruct guests to write their messages on the back of the RSVP cards, and I’m having trouble figuring out how to write that too. We came up with something along the lines of “Thoughts or advice for us? Leave us a note on the back!” but we don’t really like it.
Any of you brilliant Bees have any suggestions?
Our current RSVP card language is below, and we’re envisioning this going at the end. Oh, and you’ll see that we’re putting our dog’s name on the RSVP – we used his picture on our save-the-dates, and are having custom stamps made with his picture for the RSVP card envelopes! 🙂
Thanks all for your thoughts!
We look forward to celebrating with you!
